At the second secUnity-Workshop on Cybersecurity law in Berlin on Thursday, February 22nd 2018, more than 30 Experts from science, business, administration and politics discussed relevant research topics concerning IT-Security law. The workshop was led by Martin Schallbruch, Deputy Director of the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin and by Oliver Raabe, Director at FZI and director of the research group for Information and economic law at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
The aim of the workshop was to identify those research areas in cybersecurity law on the background of the digital Agenda of the EU. Furthermore methods for risk evaluation and for the state of technology were matter of scrutiny. The intensive discussions were particularly possible due to the collaboration between each domain and questions for future research could be identified. Consequently these topics will be matter for further dialogues in expert groups and might be placed in future research projects on a national and European level.
